Ingredients
1.5kgbeef chuck roast
4carrots, chunked
4potatoes, quartered
2onions, quartered
4 clovesgarlic
400mlbeef stock
2 tbspWorcestershire sauce
2 sprigsthyme and rosemary
3 tbspvegetable oil
salt and pepperto taste
Instructions

Season chuck roast. Brown in oil all sides over high heat.

Place vegetables and garlic in a Dutch oven. Set roast on top.

Add stock, Worcestershire and herbs.

Cover and roast at 160°C for 3–4 hours until very tender.

Remove roast and rest. Serve with vegetables and braising juices.
