800gfresh or canned peaches, sliced
100gsugar
1 tspcinnamon
1 tbsplemon juice
250gself-raising flour
100gsugar for topping
100gbutter, cold and cubed
150mlwhole milk
vanilla ice creamto serve
Instructions

Toss peaches with 100g sugar, cinnamon and lemon. Pour into a baking dish.

Rub butter into flour and sugar until resembles breadcrumbs. Add milk, mix to a rough dough.

Drop spoonfuls of dough over peaches.

Bake at 190°C for 35–40 minutes until topping is golden and fruit is bubbling.

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
