Ingredients
3 cupsplain flour
7gdried yeast
1/4 cupsugar
1 tspsalt
3/4 cupwarm milk
60gmelted butter
2eggs
oilfor frying
1 cupicing sugar
3 tbsppure maple syrup
4 rashersbacon, cooked crispy and crumbled
Instructions

Mix flour, yeast, sugar and salt. Add milk, butter and eggs. Knead 10 minutes. Rest 1 hour.

Roll to 1cm thick. Cut rounds with a doughnut cutter. Rest 30 minutes.

Deep-fry at 175°C for 90 seconds per side.

Make glaze: mix icing sugar and maple syrup.

Dip warm donuts in glaze. Top with bacon crumbles immediately.
