1 cupyogurt
1.5 cupssugar syrup

Instructions

Mix the semolina, yogurt and sugar into a thick batter.

Spread it evenly into a tray.

Bake at 180°C for twenty-five to thirty minutes, until the top turns deep golden.

Pour the cool sugar syrup over the cake the moment it comes out of the oven, still hot, that temperature contrast between hot cake and cool syrup is what lets it soak all the way through instead of pooling on top.
