200gwhite bread, soaked in water and squeezed
2 tbsppalm oil (dendê)
2 clovesgarlic

Instructions

Blend dried shrimp, peanuts, cashews, garlic and ginger with half the coconut milk.

Fry onion in palm oil until soft. Add the blended paste.

Cook 10 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add bread and remaining coconut milk. Cook 10 more minutes until very thick.

Season with salt. Serve as a filling for acarajé or as a side.
