500gokra, sliced
100gdried shrimp, ground
50groasted peanuts, ground
50gcashews, ground
2 tbsppalm oil (dendê)
1onion, diced
gingersmall piece, grated
saltto taste

Instructions

Fry onion and ginger in palm oil 3 minutes.

Add ground dried shrimp, peanuts and cashews. Cook 5 minutes.

Add okra. Cook stirring 15–20 minutes until okra is tender and stew is very thick.

Season with salt.

Serve alongside rice and acarajé.
