2large onions, thinly sliced
60gbutter
2 tbspWorcestershire sauce
4 tbspThousand Island dressing

Slowly caramelise onions in butter and oil 30 minutes until golden.

Mix beef with Worcestershire, season and shape into 4 oval patties to match bread shape.

Cook patties in a hot pan 3 minutes each side.

Spread Thousand Island dressing on bread slices.

Build: bread, cheese, patty, caramelised onions, cheese, bread.

Butter the outside of each sandwich.

Grill in a pan over medium heat until golden on both sides and cheese melts.

Cut diagonally and serve with fries.
