Honey Oat Cookies
Chewy Australian honey-oat biscuits made with coconut and golden syrup. Dissolving the bicarb in boiling water before stirring it into the melted butter is what makes the mixture foam and aerate, the reaction that gives these biscuits their characteristic chewy crackle.
