2 cupsfirm tofu
200gonion
1 cupgreen beans
300gbuttermilk biscuits
1 tspmaple syrup
2 tbspcheddar
2 tspsmoked paprika
to tastedijon mustard
1 tbspolive oil
to tastesalt and black pepper

Instructions

Press the tofu between paper towels to remove excess moisture, then cube it, season, and simmer over medium-high heat until well browned, about 4 minutes.

Add the onion and green beans, cooking until softened, about 8 minutes.

Stir in the maple syrup, cheddar, smoked paprika and dijon mustard for 4 minutes.

Prepare the buttermilk biscuits separately according to package directions.

Let the tofu simmer for about 16 minutes so the flavors meld.
