300glong-grain white rice
400gcrushed tomatoes
1white onion, diced
2 clovesgarlic
600mlchicken or vegetable stock
3 tbspvegetable oil
1 tspcumin
saltto taste

Instructions

Fry rice in oil over medium heat, stirring, until golden, about 5 minutes.

Add onion and garlic, cook 2 minutes.

Blend tomatoes with a little stock. Add to rice.

Add remaining stock, cumin and salt.

Bring to boil, cover and cook on lowest heat 18 minutes.

Rest covered 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork.
