Ingredients
2 cupsrolled oats
1 cupplain flour
1 cupcaster sugar
3/4 cupdesiccated coconut
150gbutter
2 tbspgolden syrup
2 tbspwater
1 tspbicarbonate of soda
Instructions

Preheat oven to 160°C. Mix oats, flour, sugar and coconut in a bowl.

Melt butter and golden syrup. Dissolve bicarb in water and stir into butter mixture.

Pour over dry ingredients and mix well.

Press firmly into a lined 20x30cm tin.

Bake 25 minutes until golden. Cool in tin completely before cutting into bars.
