100mlwarm milk
100mlwarm water

caster sugarto roll

Instructions

Mix flour, yeast, sugar, eggs, butter, milk and water. Knead 10 minutes. Prove 2 hours.

Pull off golf-ball sized pieces — do not reshape, keep rough.

Deep-fry at 180°C for 3–4 minutes until deeply golden, turning once.

Drain briefly on paper towels.

Roll immediately in caster sugar. Eat while hot.
