Ingredients

1kgpork shoulder or neck, cut in thick strips
4 tbsphoisin sauce
3 tbspsoy sauce
3 tbsphoney
2 tbspShaoxing wine
1 tspfive spice powder
2 clovesgarlic, minced
1 tspred fermented tofu, optional
1 tspsesame oil

Instructions

Mix all marinade ingredients, coat pork strips thoroughly.

Marinate overnight in the fridge, turning once.

Preheat oven to 200C, place pork on a rack over a water-filled tray.

Roast 25 minutes, then brush with remaining marinade.

Roast a further 10 minutes until caramelised and slightly charred at edges.

Brush with honey mixed with a little water, return to oven 5 minutes.

Rest 10 minutes, slice and serve with steamed rice and greens.
