500gedamame pods, frozen
to tastesea salt
1 tbspsesame oil (optional)

Boil or steam the edamame pods for 5 minutes, just until they are tender but still have a little bite.

Drain well and toss with a touch of sesame oil if using, coating the pods lightly rather than drenching them.

Scatter generously with sea salt while the pods are still warm.

The salt actually sticks and dissolves slightly on contact with the warm pods.
