Apple and Blackberry Crumble
A classic British crumble with sweet Bramley apples and wild blackberries under a buttery oat topping. Rubbing the cold butter into the flour with fingertips rather than a machine keeps the topping in coarse, craggy clumps instead of a fine, sandy texture.
